As a simple guide Sports and Social clubs are usually made up of a membership with an annual membership subscription payable in advance ( although often paid on instalments ) while Pubs Bars and Restaurants do not have a membership but nor do they charge an entrance fee. Night Clubs although often operating a membership policy will usually charge an entrance fee and open later than most bars and restaurants. A Night Club will also usually have a dance floor.
